Each week, the lure of soccer, or football as it is called here, entices numerous young boys on the brink of manhood into our yard. Often, they will start lining up at our gate two hours before we welcome them in. The majority of these young boys do not have any positive male influence in their lives. They come to play soccer and then stay for our weekly children’s Bible study. They leave with God’s love for them showing in the smiles on their faces. These 9- to 13-year-old boys already face many temptations as they basically take care of themselves each day.
Pray that these boys – hungry for a father figure – will learn about God, the ultimate Father as they come each week to the Good News Club. Please pray Micah 6:8 over these boys–”He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Pray that they will continue to come each week to see God’s love in action and hear what the Father has to say to them. We wait with great expectation to see how the Lord will work in the lives of these young men, the future of their country.
Editor’s note: “If you pray it, He will answer.”

God bless you all we pray in Jesus name. I pray that God gives you the strength and stamina to be the man of God HE wants you to be. May these young men go out and start their own Bible study groups, too. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. In Jesus name, Amen.
What a blessing – the Lord knows our hearts and hears our prayers – Lord I lift up this entire ministry to you – thank you Father. Thank you for us back home getting to read these prayers, how you are working in the lives of those so far away. I lift up all these boys – I do not know them, but you do, you know them by name – Lord, draw them close to you – keep them coming back to be filled with your word, fill their hearts with your love and grow them up in Christ Lord. I pray each one would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would live out their life serving you. In Jesus name – I pray.
